Meet Elizabeth!

Hi! My name is Elizabeth, the founder and treating occupational therapist at Chicago DMI, Inc. or CHI DMI. My mission, here at CHI DMI, is to provide exceptional, individualized therapeutic intervention to enable kids and caregivers to meet their personal goals across all environments.

I believe in establishing a trusting, therapeutic alliance and working closely with caregivers to tailor my treatment approach and optimize progress. I am excited to combine my love for pediatrics, family-centered care, and neurology by providing top-tier individualized care in a client’s home.

I have been treating as a pediatric occupational therapist for over 10 years working with infants, children, and adolescents into early adulthood in the outpatient, intensive model of therapy, school, and home settings. I have extensive experience in treating individuals with a wide range of developmental and neurologic diagnoses including, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, epileptic disorders, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, sensory processing differences, and global developmental delays. I am a certified Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) practitioner and I have expansive training in the Masgutova Nuerosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) method, where I can focus on helping clients progress towards developmental milestones at their own pace by facilitating and provoking foundational, automatic responses to stimulate neuroplasticity and motor development.

Aside from treating, I love my dog, binge watchin reality tv, and I love to travel. Exploring new cities, near or far, is empowering for me. This is what drives me to help children of all ages and abilities find empowerment through movement as well.
